Who We Are

Badger Middle School is a recognized Exemplary Middle School and home to 900+ hardworking seventh- and eighth-grade students in the heart of West Bend. During this important time in their lives, students are supported by highly trained staff who focus on building quality relationships and helping students grow academically and socially.

Badger students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning by setting personal goals, monitoring their progress, and reflecting on their growth and achievement. Students are also expected to make good choices, represent their school well, and do their best each day.

We will be respectful of ourselves and each other, work together to develop integrity, persevere in the face of difficulty and strive for excellence.

Our Structure

We utilize houses, smaller learning communities featuring teams of teachers who work closely with a group of students for more than half of their school day. The other part of the students’ day is spent with other amazing staff teaching a wide variety of elective courses.

Our Performance

Badger Middle School continues to perform well, earning a Meets Expectations rating on the Wisconsin DPI Report Card while exceeding state achievement levels in ELA and math. View the full 2024-2025 report card.
